Kristen Swango
Kristen is the President of the Community AIDS Action Group and works at IU Health Positive Link. She spent three years participating in CAAG before joining the board, first serving as the Treasurer and most recently the President, totaling 9 years. Kristen is passionate about educating the community about HIV to reduce stigma.

Alex Fort currently works as a Community Health Educator and STI Tester for IU Health - Positive Link. On the side, he likes to cover the many, varied aspects of sexual health beyond STIs with the people who need it most. Alex believes that knowledge should be accessible to all; it must free, understandable, and if nothing else, engaging. He dedicates his time to the CAAG to make this real for the community.

A Community Health Educator and HIV/HCV/STD tester at IU Health Positive Link, with more than 20 years of experience in the sexual health education field. Primary areas of passion include sexual and reproductive health education, intervention, outreach, research, and public health programs promoting healthy sexual interactions between young people.

Meredith Short
Meredith a member of the Region 9 ZIP Leadership Team and serves as the ZIP representative on the CAAG Board. Currently working as a PrEP Navigator for IU Health – Positive Link, she has spent the last 18 years dedicated to providing the best psychosocial support to the HIV community.
Taylor Pearson

Taylor Pearson
Taylor has spent her life in the pursuit of equality and justice, as she currently works as a guardian ad litem for Kids Voice. She has helped in many ways with the CAAG for the past 3 years, and remains a fierce advocate for those living with HIV. When not working, Taylor is a nationally-ranked slam poet, tattoo enthusiast, and parent to two precocious cats.
Emily Brinegar

Emily Brinegar
Emily (she/her) is the Manager of Prevention Services at IU Health Bloomington Positive Link and has worked in the area of HIV for 25 years. In her current role she manages staff who provide HIV/HCV outreach and testing as well as a team of case managers who assist people in accessing PrEP and HCV treatment. She has served as the President of the Community AIDS Action Group of South Central Indiana and is a past member of state planning groups for both people living with HIV and HIV prevention services.

Miranda Ettinger
Miranda is one of the Disease Intervention Specialists for the Monroe Co Health Department, and has worked in the public health field for 14 years. She is diligent in bringing STI advocacy and care to the Bloomington and Terre Haute regions.
